Yes, (there is a legal requirement to “vault’ the credit card. However, you will only be billed for the amount that you receive, and your credit card won’t be billed until shortly before the pick-up day.
The person who posted the item (Sharer) will pay for their cost of the item, the people who joined the item (Joiners) will pay only for the amount they sign up for.
Only the host (person who posted the item) will see your email details.
